Often not recognized as SAD or the winterblues, there is simple treatment for this type of depression; Bright Light Therapy. .
In the Netherlands app. 450.000 people suffer from a winter depression or SAD every year. There is an even larger group of 1.200.000 individuals who suffer from a milder version called the winterblues. About 75% of people suffering from SAD are women. The most common age of onset is at the age of thirty.
The Daylight Power can be used to treat or prevent the winterblues but also to help regulate your biological clock if you work nightshifts.
